I made the deadline -- got my NaNovel published on Lulu.com. Lulu was gracious enough to offer a free copy of your novel if you won NaNo. But they've also created a store front for it, so you can view the front and back covers, read a few pages, etc. if you'd like.

Awesome, Tommie. I previewed it (and all I'd ever seen before was the rough "will this work" version in the WS) and I have to say I LOVE your first sentence!!! Did you design the covers?

Are you going to try and sell and market this? I know you slaved over it. Congrats on the mystery of writing a mystery--solved!

Thanks for the kind comments, dulcigal.

Yes, I designed the cover. I used a photo from Lulu's gallery and put the text on it graphically (their fonts were not satisfying to me and I wanted more control over where and how the elements of the title and author's name appeared).

Lulu sets up a storefront for you automatically when you publish through them. I won't actively market it (although I did put it on my Authors Den webpage and linked to Lulu) but if an occasional visitor buys one, I won't object ;)

Tommie Lyn,

I had to move your thread to the appropriate forum. God Bless your new novel.

Thanks, DrRita. I wasn't thinking POD or publishing when I made the post. I was thinking "Woo Hoo! I beat the Lulu deadline!" 8^)

Double kudos on making your deadline!! I'm celebrating with you. Moving your thread was just a moderation thing. I'm really happy for you.

A bit of shameless PR there with the avatar I see...LOL, just kidding! If I'd just gotten that all done and published, I'd be wallpapering my room with it!
