Christians are seperated by many different beliefs, yet God call us to unity. Could our own failure to accept other people who are different be holding us back from God's blessing? As children we are taught to not talk to strangers. Do we carry out this belief into adult-hood? Are we not taught that God loved the world so much that he sent his Son to die for sinners. Does he only love people who are just like you, or is God's love unconditional?
What you believe are the boundaries of God's love will influence how you shine for God in life? Can you shine through to people where they are at without forcing them to be who you are? You are not making more of you in the world, but more of those who are made in the image of Christ.
Can you put yourself in the shoes of another? Jesus put himself in your place. Is Jesus the example in which you desire to follow? Jesus died to his own will. Will you die to self that you might only receive truth from God?Then you will not believe only that which follows what you already believe, but will grow as God teaches you more truth. Are we not called to grow into his image, and be molded by the Spirit of God that abides within us through faith. The question is this can you let go and let God lead. God does not lead by the Bible alone, but through every word that proceeds from his mouth. Let me ask you this what makes you less than Jesus? You hold God's Spirit trust in God's love, and rely on his power.
So many of us live in our past and the failures we have made. Many believe God could be angry with them, and they hold unto shame. God is our Father he does not hold unto anger, and when you ask he forgives. God is the best Father he always wants to bless you, but he can not bless you unless you will receive it. Many believe the punishment for sin is shame so they hold unto it. If Christ paid the price of our sin why cant we move forward? Why cant we let go and let God. Let God start fresh in us with his love. God's power is in his love. His power in us works through our love for Him, through our trust in his love, and through our love for others. Love is above all things. Without love we are nothing, and without it we abide not in him. Lay down your life and abide in God's love.
Victory over this world is through our faith. Faith is depending on God, trusting him, and knowing he does what is best. If you know all things work out for good when they are in God it is not hard to trust him. Trust is only the heart and mind believing that God is love. Pray for more love, ask God to bless you with it, and seek it in all you do. Then maybe we can move past judgement and condemnation to seeing ourselves in others. Trusting God to move you in his love in a perfect way, at the perfect time, and as only he can. Knowing also that when we pray for God to move he can and will even where we have not been.
God is calling Christians to live outside of religion and move into the abide. Abide in God, abide in love, and abide outside yourself. People think they have to know everything and that their way is best. If you open your ears, your eyes, and your hearts to others they may have something good to teach you. When someone comes to you and is wrong in so many things you may label them as false prophets, but have you walked in his life. Dont judge the cover before you have seen the whole book. People are influenced by their lives, by other people, and even through fear. Are you influenced by fear? Do you hold unto one piece of the puzzle thinking God will condemn you if you learn anything new? Do you condemn others and judge things because you fear if you dont God will hold you accountable? Is your God being worshipped of love or fear? Perfect love cast out fear. God wants to mold you, but he can not mold you from inside unless you open up your heart. Let us have the mind of Christ who made himself nothing, yet gave his everything to change the world.
