Well, actually I got a first place in one and an honorable mention in another.

The first place was in a contest for Christian poetry.

CONGRATULATIONS!
When you are a writer, there is almost no greater thrill than winning a contest and knowing you will have a by line! The first contest I won after opening the letter I screamed so loud, my husband who was only half shaved and somewhat unattired, ran to rescue me. Upon seeing him, I danced him around the living room and screamed some more. He unceremoniously detached himself and went back to shaving. I continued to boogie! My sincerest congratulations and you go girl!!! Arlene
