Hello! My name is Julia Temlyn, and I am a writer, proofreader, and editor. I hold a B.A. in English and a minor and special training in journalism, including editing and proofreading. I have a keen eye for intricate details, including grammar and punctuation errors, as well as typos. I am diligent, dependable, and dedicated. My work is very thorough, and I have been known to return a client's story with several additional pages of edits and suggestions. I am a firm believer in that all writing should be well-written in order to achieve a professional image.
Editing and proofreading are some of my greatest passions. I have been doing this for as long as I can remember, finding typos and grammar and punctuation errors in newspapers, books, textbooks, and websites; often they seem to jump off the page! I love to write as well, and I enjoy helping others to communicate through writing. The editing process can help many would-be writers learn how to communicate their written words more effectively. I whole-heartedly enjoy editing and writing, both as a hobby and profession. Because I am extremely passionate about writing and editing, I pride myself on always producing the highest possible quality work.
Many of the businesses and websites that I have worked with require tight deadlines, and I have been dedicated to working independently from home with very little oversight. I am both thorough and quick in my writing and editing skills, and provide a quick turnaround.
