I believe you both deserve the merits of moderator--but I'm not sure what a moderator does. Anyway, I'm sure it's something very respectable, and your progress to this position gives you fulfillment and the members of Christian Writers the moderation that is becoming to writers who tend to go off in tangeants.

So, Sir Keith, I got in nicey nice with you just in time, eh?

That way, it looks like I made chummie just to be a nice guy, instead of slyly maneuvering to get closer to those in power.

My evil plot thickens like cold pea soup left outside on a frigid December day.

Note to self: fire the staffer that writes my similes...

OK! OK! 'Lang may yer lum reek' means long may your chimney smoke! It means basically, 'long may you live' or as in this case, 'long may you reign!'
Even I still have problems with definitions after living here 24 years. I like to throw a little Scottish word or saying now and again. Keeps the ol' grey cells working, huh!
Cheers guys.
God bless

I sure miss hanging out with all you guys. I'm sliced about as thin as I can manage, but maybe I'll sneak back on around. You guys are always so friendly and uplifting! Take care and God bless! You Rock! !thumbsup!

Belated congratulations work just fine!

Besides, ahem, when ages advance, there are always issues in remembering things. (I can attest to that myself!) Your belated congrats is like getting welcomed to the job all over again!

Oh, and yes, you do have to become a poet. All future posts must display a semblance of rhyme...

I was thinking Keith would expect us all to try our hand at poetry -- but of course, it would be free verse -- no rhyming! LOL

lol. Don't worry. David writes fiction and so do most of us, so I think we out number Keith. That should mean we can keep him in line. Muahahaha
