Greetings, all:
I just had my first book released at the end of May. It's called "What They Never Taught You in Sunday School".
It's a Bible study, a historical survey, and a personal testimony. It began in a Christian chat room on the Internet, where through a series of discussions I began to observe that many people simply don’t have a good understanding of the faith that they profess. They don’t know much about the doctrinal system of their church, or what makes it different from the one down the street. Even among people who have been a member of a church for their entire lives, this pattern seemed consistent.
I hope you will check out my website at www.hutsonbooks.com

Ihope your book has alot of research in it. For today church is in more trouble than ever. I personally study the Bible in my home. No where in the Bible does it say I have to join a church. It does say I'm to follow Jesus. No wher does it say that Sunday is the Sabbath. The Romans changed that and no one said aword. It does say that I should fellowship we those of the same mind. People of the same mind are hard to find today. Everyone is caught up in , The Purpose Driven Church, which isn't of God. I hope your book cover some of this. Many people need to hear about the truth, which only comes from the Word of God.
May God Bless your faithfullness

Actually, yes it does, in many places. And it gives a structure for the church, and many rules about how it should be operated.
No wher does it say that Sunday is the Sabbath. The Romans changed that and no one said aword.
Actually, the Bible does not require Christians to observe the Sabbath at all. But the record is clear (both in the Bible and in history) that the church met on the first day of the week, or Sunday. No doubt the pagan Romans had considerable influence over the years, but Sunday worship was established in the first century, not the 4th.
It does say that I should fellowship we those of the same mind.
Yup. And when people do so, that's what we call a church.
Thank you for your encouragement.

Hi Masa777,
Please keep two points in mind:
1) Keep each thread on topic - this is a thread regarding Stevehut's newly published book.
2) No theological (or other hot button) type debates are permissible within our site. There are an abundant number of sites on the Internet where these type discussions are appropriate and encouraged.
Stevehut - Congratulations on the publication of your new book!
Thanks,
Rebecca
