A live-steam scale railroad organization commisioned me to write their history today. They are thirty-five years old this year. Several changes occured in the last 24 months, not the least of which was the death of an important charter member.
The current leadership is looking for a tool to cast perspective on the railroad's history as well as position the vision the future. At this point, 200 copies are presold. I will be owner of the book and all purchases will be made through me or my proxy. I plan to use Lulu as my POD.
It isn't the great American novel, but I am a writer and this is my first book-length assignment. I'm kind of stoked. !thumbsup!
