HI
I posted the article I submitted to lippincott, which is a group of nursing magazines, from nursing to lpn2006 and others. In short, it is a group of well respected, well known nursing journals in the medical field. My article, "Patient to Patient Compassion" will be published in an upcoming issue of lpn2006 magazine!! I got an email from the editor which said that several editors had read it and agreed that it would fit lpn2006 magazine, which is a magazine for LPN's with how to/help/enouragement articles geared toward their targeted reading group...NURSES of course! The last paragraph said that if I agreed, to please contact them so that they could arrange publication of the article.. After reading it through several SEVERAL times, I said to my husband.. "IF I AGREE"???? Are they JOKING??? This is the second article I've sent to a magazine for consideration. The first was rejected... it was a children's article...that I intend to revamp and REsubmit! My SECOND one was accepted!! I am so excited.. And just between us, I believe it has something to do with my recent obedience to an issue I've been wrestling with for quite some time.. I finally took a deep spiritual breath and "listened" and the rewards and fruits just keep on coming!! I give all the thanks to GOD, for without HIM, I would be nothing!!

God Bless

Congratulations, Connie! My sister is a nurse and she loves her job. She has always enjoyed caring for people. Make sure you post links to your article when it comes out.

CONGRATULATIONS! I am a nurse but retired 7 yrs ago to stay home with my disabled child. I love nursing and understand that publishing this article IS a very big deal. May the Lord bless many through your writing.
Keep up the good work.
In Christ,
Nancy!

HI Guys
sorry I haven't been on the site for a few days.. Been working a few 12 hr shifts, and I'm usually beat at the end of those, especially when they turn into 13 hr shifts instead of 12!! I also have articles that will be published in Christian publications and I will post links to those also.. THANKS for the support and uplifting sis's and brothers...

That's great, Nurse Connie. I have a dear friend who has also had some article published in a nursing journal in the UK. I'll share your story with her so it will encourage her to keep on writing.

Raindancer, thanks, please do share my story with her! And also, it would help me very much to connect with another nurse/writer. It would be awesome to form a nurse/writer group... what an idea you've given me!! !thumbsup!

PLEASE, share my email with her and have her email me if she's interested! connieallen@wayxcable.com
