At the time of me writing this, CW has 2661 members. Almost 22% say they like fantasy and science fiction best (http://4Believers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4533). That comes to 585 (and a half) of us are writers with a preference for fantasy and science fiction.

If you are one of the 585 (or the half), I have an invitation for you.

Dragons, Knights, & Angels is a Christian magazine of fantasy and science fiction. It was founded in 1999 by Rebecca Shelly who continues to participate on the current editorial team. This magazine was a pioneer of web magazines, and continues to grow and expand now.

However, this expansion has left the submissions queue relatively short on fiction submissions. I am posting this appeal because of the 585 (and a half) writers in this community who like fantasy and science fiction, I am hoping some of you have manuscripts ready and need a market to which you might submit.

DKA is a PAYING market. If accepted, you will have made a sale of your work, in addition to being published.

Guidelines: http://dkamagazine.com/submission.html

Please look through your available manuscripts and consider which one you might submit. The process is relatively easy, and right now, the need for quality works is high.

DKA is a publication of Double-Edged Publishing, Inc.

Thanks!

I have three short stories that might fit the bill: "Mortuus Admonitio" and "My Pet Nis" and "The Big Cheese". None of them fit the standard bill for fantasy and SciFi so if you want to check them out let me know.

If so please email me at mshauers@mac.com. I have an online marketing column for children's writers and also a market list I would be happy to include your publication in.

Bill,
_____I'm cleaning up some of my work today, and I was thinking about shipping it to you. However, I'm not sure which site it would go with best. Should I just send it directly to you or what exactly?
_____I just got done cleaning up an teen short story over 800 words long. I'm about to get to work on a commidy. Then I have a childrens horror story is the best way to discribe it. Then I have one that is like a fable, and it's very short. I also have the fantasy story that I wrote for the world view contest last year.
_____Anyway, they are just collect dust and I figured it's good for exsposure. ;)

DKA is looking for Fantasy and Science Fiction stories and poems. It is desirable that submissions have some God-pointing qualities, as well. They need not be directly evangelical, but something that might help someone move toward God is desirable. Check out the guidelines for more info:

http://dkamagazine.com/submission.html

The Sword Review takes stories and peoms that are anywhere from neutral to overtly Christ-centric. Nothing that might point away from God is wanted.

Since the editorial teams are essentially two separate groups, and the magazines run off of entirely different data bases, you will need to submit to them, one-at-a-time.

Is DKA still accepting stories?

Hey, I had a story that was published at Infuze, only because I wasn't sure if it 'fit' at a fantasy mag. I guess you'd call it Biblical fiction, it's about a woman living just before Noah's flood. Do you ever publish anything like that?

Merry, both DKA and The Sword Review would have interest in stories like that.

For example check this out:

Oh, duh...leave it to me to find the stories that weren't historical!
