Christian Writer's Market Guide

Has anyone bought the Christian Writer's Market Guide by Sally Stuart? Is it worth getting? Is there anything in there for screenwriters? Like Christian agents or Christian production companies looking for scripts.

It's a great resource but it really doesn' t have anything for screenwriters. I'm not sure if there's anything Christian out there except for Act One (www.actoneprogram.com) which doesn't have agents or the like. What kind of screenplays are you trying to sell? Predominately Christian stuff? Do you have a local screenwriters association in your area? Connections are important. Wish I could be more help.

Good rule of thumb- Get it from the library. It's updated yearly, and you can usually target the information you need fairly quickly. Although I think I kept it once for nine weeks- there was never anyone else wanting to read it.

Thanks for your response. I do have one screenplay that I wrote which is not Christian but the rest are Christian stories. I’d like to get a Hollywood agent for the non-Christian screenplay but I’m not sure they would like the Christian scripts. I guess I’ll just have to see.

Thanks for the tip. I looked at the library website and they do have last year’s Christian Writer's Market Guide available. I’m going to go and check it out.
