Thank you Merry. :)
May your New Year be grand.
It seems kind of strange that I am now in the year 2006, while most of cw is still in 2005. I awoke to a volly of fireworks, as my neighbors celibrated the new years arrival, but I quickly fell back into slumber.

HAPPY NEWYEAR, to you Whitehawke, and to all. I hope for an inspired, less confrontational, new year. I will try to watch mySELF.

Lady Hawkster, have a peek outside and tell us if the sun still shines in 2006...

BTW - I heard a rummor (ok, I started it) that your New Year's resolution is to start drinking coffee instead of that nasty tea. Good for you! Beware, you will start growing hair on your chin, but fight the urge to pluck it. Eventually it falls out on it's own.

Wanted to add New Years blessings for all. We're a little behind whitehawk ... but the fireworks have been popping ever since it got dark ... and that would be about 4:30 pm. LOL. They will pick up as we get closer to midnight. I think Rulan has the right idea ... sleeping sounds good to me. LOL.

Anyway, Happy New Year to some great folks.

Blessings, Francine

Happy New Year! Is anyone making a list of New Years resolutions or celebrating the completion of last years resolutions? I remeber one resolution that I made a few years ago. I resolved to not take myself quite so seriously. As a result, I smile a bit more and laugh a little louder. rmacek

Happy New Year curm.
Enjoy your coffee when you wake up. I think most people here will need it in the morning.

Oh, they reacon that an apple works better than coffee to wake a person up. So curm, I suggest you ditch all your coffee mugs, smash all your coffee making gadgits, make all those coffee beans into a nice big beanbag for that raccoon family to sleep in and start eating apples. LOL. How's that sound, my friend? Muahahahaha ;)

A late Happy New Year to all of you. After a week of vacation at home with my family, with lots of hugs and piggy back rides, games and a little snow, I figure the best resolution I could make is very simple.

I will delight in the blessings I already have, remember them daily and thank God sincerely. My wife is a courageous and committed Christian and constant help to me, my children love me, and the church we returned to last summer has showered us with prayers, gifts, and warm fellowship. Our troubles, often seeming large, are light and momentary indeed.

Grace and Peace,

Paul

Hey Paul, it sounds like you had a wonderful time with your family. That is so cool.
Did you get to build a snowman? That is something I have never done.

Lol, Hawkie, I love the echo effect! Were you up sneaking into the CW fridge for pie and ice cream? Or was it the middle of the afternoon for you?

Don't tell anyone, but yeah, I raided the cw fridge. It was full of yummy goodies. Apple and blueberry pie with heaps of ice cream. There was jelly and also some trifle. Lick lips. yum
At that time it was only 8:48 pm and this place was quiet, nothing stirred, not even a mouse. ;)
Hope you had a good time while I'll was raiding this place.
