Publicity and peer encouragement are essentials in furthering any writing career. With that in mind, we have created this forum, entitled, "Publishing Success." This is a spot for members to post their publishing success stories. All types of publishing achievements are welcome. Whether you've been accepted in a small ezine, signed a mega book deal, or anything in between, we want to hear about it!
How will this forum help you? First, all accepted entries display on our home page, which is fantastic publicity. Second, your listing will inform other members about your publication, so they can offer feedback and congratulations on your achievement. Seeing one of our members succeed is always a great inspiration!
Please note: The "Publishing Success" forum differs from our other offerings in these ways.
- This is a moderated forum, which means a staff member must approve your announcement before it goes live. Simply submit your post just like any other forum, then check back later--your announcement may be on our home page!
- Keep in mind this is not a forum for advertising, but rather for publishing success stories. We want to hear that a publisher has just accepted your manuscript, how excited you are, and (if it will be available shortly) where we can watch for it. We don't accept outright ads for books, stories, etc.
- This forum is for commercial publishing success only. Unfortunately, we cannot accept POD or vanity press items. Please feel free to advertise POD or vanity press items here (http://ChristianWriters.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=41).
- Announcements must be for your own work; please do not post ads for others.
- Please do not submit the same announcement multiple times when you don't see it appear immediately in the forum listing. As mentioned above, this forum is moderated; your announcement will not display until approved by a staff member. Waiting time is usually brief, as we ordinarily check the queue several times a day. If you have questions or concerns regarding your listing, please wait at least 48 hours after submitting your announcement, then inquire by starting a new thread in the Support Forum (http://ChristianWriters.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=7).
- We strongly encourage all CW members to post their success stories; however, only announcements from active members will be approved. If you are a new member, please also stop in and introduce yourself in Meets & Greets (http://ChristianWriters.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=48), or participate in our discussion forums (http://ChristianWriters.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=3). We do approve new active members, but we don't approve hit & run advertisers. ;)
