View Full Version : Will God give us extra hands?

Indeed I find myself being a mum, and then in parallel a wife, teacher (since we homeschool), friend, writer, child of God and all else that I can and must be.

Yet at times, as the minutes tick, and then hours pass, I wonder about possessing extra hands - if I had extra hands I might be more efficient.

I result to this, He must have given me extra hands, not seen by the naked eyes. Why? Because at times I feel I do so much; and yet, I have so much to do still. There must be an extra pair of hands - the Spirit's that sees me through the day.

My goal is this: to know that hand better; to rely on that hand more; to even give over so that the extra hand will reign.

Yes, God will indeed give extra hands.

Preacherkay,
That was beautiful!! Have you thought about perhaps working that up a little bit and sending it in as a devotional? I think you should. It would be a tremendous uplift to many a weary soul. May God continue to bless and keep you.

The things I write today is for myself. Selfish ho? Today I am having a pity party. Noticing the time. Closer for departure than yesterday. Just want to be ready to make the journey successfully. After all the heartaches and pain on the earth just want to hit the mark. Keep up the good work and know that someone is being benefited by the writings. Earlier I wrote about the song, He's Been Faithful, even when I failed to communicate with Him. He never has left, though some of us do leave His presence. What a terrible statement, but if it helps someone to face the truth about His faithfulness, even when we fail, He is always there for us. What comfort in knowing this. Someone might just read this when they are in dispair.
