Want to move to Oregon, between the California border and Medford somewhere.
Can anybody give me some advise about the economy, schools, etc.?

Well, my sister went to Washington with her boyfriend and they went to Oregon to visit his sister, I think, and she didn't like it. They took pictures though, and it has a nice beach area..very beautiful. But my sister didn't like the cities...that's her though. i don't know much about it.
You can look up books at the library about Oregon, least you should be able to.

_____Selma may as well be on the border. We just got hit with a big fire, and they happen every four years it would seem. Lots of calies are moving in and the prices for homes is skyrocketing and the amount that you are payed is way to low. Gas is over $3 right now. Anyway, my inlaws have been here for some time and even thay want to move away. I've been here for a year, and getting a home here is hopeless, and worthless. So there you have it.

Thanks ya'll.

I was born in Eugene, and have been to Oregon many times. We are praying about moving there because we are tired enough of Las Vegas to ask the God who sent us to Las Vegas if He is done with us here yet.

He had to push us out of Maryland, wouldn't take that much to get us out of Vegas, WAS our thot.

At least it was until Sunday at Church, again. There is such a practical vision here for taking this city for Christ! Our pastor is constantly meeting with city officials about issues. Now he has a vision to build an emergency response team with Vegas business leaders that can respond at a moments notice to disasterous situations around the nation and the world. In the first service alone more than $12,000 was given by the congreation to this cause. I watched them count the money so I know the figure was true. Don't know what happened in the second service. Some of this money will first go to help survivors of Hurrican Katrina. He said he contacting out congress people and the Mayor this week to get them on board.

So, it seems, evertime we look to leaving another vision is cast, and we get caught in the wonderfully exciting web. Our questions is: "What is our part in it?"

I HAVE to hear from my Master before I can do anything.

_____I just miss being in Texas I guess. I prefer drunks to weed and meth heads. Then people mind their own busness in Texas. I guess it just suits my mantality better. Still, if I had a choice between Vegas and here, I would stay here. I hate gambling.

We live in the Eugene/Springfield area. Cottage Grove, actually, although I used to live in Springfield. As you probably already know, it's a pretty area, and the weather is moderate. (Here in Cottage Grove it tends to be hotter in the summer and cooler in the winter.)

There's a lot of talk about how bad our economy is, but frankly, I don't see it. Anyone who wants to work can find work, as far as I can tell. Although I think jobs with good benefits are a little harder to find. The housing market is booming, and has been since spring, but it's starting to level out. A lot of people are moving to places outside Eugene city limits, because it's prettier, more family friendly, and a little less expensive in many cases.

I hope this helps a little.
