View Full Version : Pray for Folks....

Well, here we are...trying to learn how to write so that perhaps we can play a small part in helping people find Jesus Christ. And I've noticed that lately there have been a number of folks just pulverized by things going on in their own lives or the lives of friends and family.
WIld fires, sicknesses...and I've just heard our Curmudgeon is quite ill right now. I think most people know he has been sick for a number of years, but he's just taken a turn as of yesterday.

The devil doesn't not want people to know what you know about Jesus and he certainly doesn't want anyone writing about it. I think it would be a good time to keep our little community in your prayers and determine to hang tough and keep writing.

Thank you and God Bless

Miche

Here, here.

I am very saddened to hear that... Curm, if you see this, you're in my prayers man.

And thank you, Merry, for that perspective on writing--that's something I had lost sight of in the last few days.

Hi everyone,
I just heard from curmudgeon. He is very greatful for your prayers and asks if you could please continue to keep him in prayer.
I know he has been doing some work with Haiti Arise and he'll most likely want to get back to that. So please, lets rally together for him. Raise a banner and fight!
Thank you all.

Here's an update on curmudgeon.
Whatever hit him on Friday morning has left him weak and easily fatigued, but he said that each hour seems to be better than the one before it.
He is hoping to pop in on cw tomorrow or the next day, Lord willing.
Thank you so much for your prayers and please keep them up. Thank you.

I feel so blessed. Thank you so much!

Last Friday, as I was writing my blog about Haiti Arise, I was hit by a non-stop barrage of low blood pressure episodes that has left me strangely weak. As my good buddy Rulan has already shared, I am improving slowly. It may be a week or two before I am back spending much time at CW, but rest assured I love all those conversion stories I got to see before I got the smack-down. I look forward to adding my two farthings soon. ;)

If you want to read more about the whole dealeo, I wrote about it on my blog.

Rulan got after me for not leaving an update. Here goes. First thank you for your continued prayers! Today is my first day trying to do anything, and I think I over did it. Need to crawl back into the sarcophagus for a quick nap. It has been fun reading the short stories. Wow. Anyway, great to be back. One positive note (I think) is that I lost around fifteen pounds over the weekend. I didn’t even know that was possible.

God bless you my friends! :D

My thanks to all of you! I was and remain deeply moved by your comments. Your posts were like a medicine to me. I am feeling much better now. In fact, I am nearly back to my old curmudgeonly self. May the Lord bless you with a double portion of His favor! :D

I don't think curm would mind if I ask you to please continue with your prayers for him.
I was chatting to him a few minutes ago and he had another blackout.
No, I did not hit him. He's too far away for that.
But, it does annouy me when the enemy attacks people I know.
David may have over done it a bit yesterday and will need to take more care of himself.
Hope he doesn't growl at me for saying that.
So please, lift him up in prayer and thank you again.
