_____I'm looking down the beral of really being homeless tonight. From the last sighting the fire was only about an acer from the house. So far it has burned 2,000 acers, six homes, and is out of control.
_____I have pictures from when it first started. We are waiting for my father and brother in law to get home from the fire. Anyhoot, it may become difficult for me to get online for a time.

_____We are about 15 minits from the fire right now. My father and brother in law are at the house with the fire. The firemen are there trying to stop the fire. The news dosn't make it sound like saving the house will happen, the winds are strong and heading that way. It's also very dry. I'll try to keep updates comeing.

_____Good news this morning. Everyone is safe. As for the house, last night two bulldozers, sever firetrucks, and firemen were there. Jim (father in law) just went to check, and the house is A-ok. Seems the wind changed and now the house is at the back of the direction the fire is going. We still can't go home, because of all the smoke.
_____I went and volintired to help last night, but they said they had nothing for me to do. Anyway, we're just trying to figure out what to do with today. ;) Ashis were raining in town 30 minuits away. Last we heard the fire was still out of control.
_____Great, I just got called away to hear bad news. Now the fire is flairing up again over there, and Jim is being evacted. Sigh-- maybe I will go to the Y today and try to chill.

_____Well the fire has been moved into a cadigory one. Before it was just a fire, now it's dangures I guess. The house may still go up, but who knows. For now we are with my wifes brother for the next two to three days at least.

_____I miss rain, I'm going back to a state with tornados! Dang it! I miss things that come in, do the damage, and then go. It's over. This bloody fire is annoying at best.

Angel,

My prayers are with you and your family, as well as those who have lost their homes. I can't imagine what it's like ... the not knowing, I mean. Well, yeah, I can ... we have probably all faced something where we were forced to wait without knowing what the future held. And a lyric from a song comes to mind, "I may not know what the future holds, but I know WHO holds the future." The more I grow spiritually, the more I've come to understand how awesome that kind of knowledge is. If we can get to the point where we can just KNOW God has it in control, then we can actually smile because regardless of what it is, He is there with us.

_____Well my inlaws just got back from the house, appaernelty smoked out and dragged out by my brother in law. The fire has kicked up all around the house, within sight. I'm not so much concerned about that as I am about my realitives mental health. They're high strung. I could say I am too and get into fights with them, but I don't have the energy. Oh well.

_____Back in the house, and everything seems fine. God's so cool and I'm not saying that because I'm back in my house. I've just been blessed with a positive mental position here latly. Been very happy. Let every one else be grumbly, I don't have time for it. :D
