It ain't Kansas but this forum is very special to me and I've missed my daily check-in. But now I'm HOME! So many new folk, it's so wonderful. And all the writing projects! I am excited t get back to writing and critiquing and studying again. I had a marvelous trip, so much to think upon. I have my two granddaughters here in Az with me until 8-24 when they will fly back to Washington to their home. They are 8 and 10 and so fun. I'll be a regular now so Watch Out CW members, the Doc is back in town. !thumbsup!

Dr. Rita:

Glad you're back in AZ. I'm making a trip back in about 3 weeks and will be able to spend time with my granddaughter (for her 10th birthday) and my grandson 8 1/2 -- :) oh yeah, and the booksigning ... I think  (don't ask, lol).

You came back to a little cooler weather, didn't you? And how was your trip? Did you get lots of ideas? I really envied your itinerary.

Take care and blessings, Francine

Francine,
Yeah, it's been a chilling 105 :D Seriously, it's much cooler than before I left My trip was stupendously wonderful. I have lots of ideas tucked in the memory banks which I'm anxious to work on. Besides the beauty and wonder of the west, my sis and I did some traveling down memory lane, going back to find the homes my parents and grandparents had when we were children. It was so neat. How long are going to be staying here? Book signing??? Wow.

I arrive on Sep 11 -- which so happens to be "Grandparents Day" !thumbsup! -- how appropriate, huh? And the plan is to surprise my two grandkids, lol. I return on Oct. 9. Yeah, the book signing is exciting ... of course, the book (published by a small publsiher) isn't out yet  and the signing is scheduled for Sept 17. But, it's God's book and so I'm letting Him take care of the details. :) Let's see -- you are near Phoenix, right? If I happen to get up that way, I'll let you know I'm going to be there. It all depends on the book.

I know about gathering ideas and tucking them away -- I have so many from over here and I can almost guarantee that I won't get really into those ideas until I return back to the states. LOL.

105 huh? Woooo hoooooooo, dawgies ... now that's hot.

Cool blessings, Francine

Dr. Rita -- I'll let you know if I get something lined up near Phoenix. I'm getting ready to do news releases to some media that have been covering the illegal entrants' stories.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back here ... our internet service has been so slow over here that I pick a different "venue" so to speak each evening to visit. With the cost of internet over here, I'm lucky to be able to just visit the few sites I enjoy.

I'll keep you posted. I'd love to meet you.

Blessings, Francine
