I normally don't promote competitions with entry fees anywhere, but I was emailed this and the premise somewhat intriged me. I figured there might be a couple of screenwriters here who might not mind the $30 fee, but I did want to mention it up front.
Art Within is searching for the next great screenwriters-of-faith. Art
Within Labs is a yearlong non-residency program where
up to five screenwriters will be commissioned to experiment with the
blending of their faith and writing. There is a $10K
remuneration, along with an extra $30K per writer in script coaching,
workshops, retreats, travel and lodging. Deadline for
submission is September 1st. For details or to apply, visit
