Riders & Reapers Needs Your Help!!!!!!

Hey gang,

I could use your help in two areas, but only you can decide if you'll give that help. Right?

Here goes.

1) Riders and Reapers (an online publication) is set to go live around September 1st. I have had some really quality submissions that will help make the debut edition one to remember. However, I could use more submissions. The second issue is planned for release around November 1st so some of those submissions could be geared toward fall, harvest, Thanksgiving, Christmas etc.

2) If you have some ability to let others know about Riders and Reapers (I don't care if they are writers or readers - play on words intentional) I would be grateful. I really want people to have fun and enjoy the homespun nature of this site.

If it all fails - it fails - I may not be able to stop it, but this much I know most who have responded to the site are thrilled that something like this is going to be made available.

Call it shamless begging if you like - CAN YOU HELP ME?

I sympathize with your plight. Unfortunately I've always been a big city, freeway system kind of guy. My only experience with the kind of thing you're asking for was very negative, but I will be in prayer for your need. God is able.

Sounds interesting, are you wanting fiction or non-fiction? The sample stories read like fiction. But I suppose they could be true as well. Just trying to get the right "feel". Hope it all works out for you!

Non-fiction, fiction, poetry - almost anything goes as long as its from a rural perspective. Thanks for asking.

Well, Riders & Reapers just went live about five minutes ago. Our own Dr. Rita has a fun story about raising chickens in a basement.

Don't know that's it's perfect but it will at least give you all an idea of what the magazine is all about - why? Because I am now looking for Thanksgiving and Christmas stories - deadline is October 10th, 2005.
