My dad called and he's very upset. His youngest brother, with whom he's had a strained relationship, just had a massive stroke and died today. Could you pray that I'll know how to comfort him?
Thanks,
Chiara

I certainly will! I can't wait for the time when all death is just a bad memory.

While unexpected death is so difficult, God can use it to bring others close to Him.
I do pray God will give you His words to speak comfort and support.
Blessings, Francine

I pray the Peace of Christ Himself be upon you, your father and the whole family. I trust your uncle knows the Lord and that the purpose of God to heal and strengthen relationships even in times like this will rise up amongst those that call upon His Name to glorify Him and bless and comfort His Children.
Blessings,
Mike :(

My prayers are with you! When it's time for you to comfort your father, the Holy Spirit will give you the direction you need. Rest easy and know that He cares about you and your father. :)

Once again, thanks everyone.
Your prayers are indeed helping; I just got off the phone with my Dad and he sounds much better than the last time I spoke with him. Of course grieving is one of those things that comes in waves, but it's still nice to know that even in the anonymous confines of cyberspace, people care.
Best,
