None of you most likely do not know me, my name is Caolinn.
I really don't have but two friends not including God, support is really lacking lately. This is a little uncomfortable to ask for, but I really could use some prayer.
I'm 20 and live at home with my family, lately things have been horrible at work with my dad and there is a good chance that he will lose his job at this place once again. I was suppose to go back to college in the fall and finish the program I have started, but we are in desparate need of money. I am seriously praying about not finishing this semester and working a full time job instead to help provide with bills. I was suppose to have completed my degree this past May, but due to health was unable to.We need to know very soon if I will be going back to school or not.
I'd really appreciate it if you guys could pray for God's guidance.
Thank you for your time.

My heart goes out to your situation - that's a tough place to be in. And being a fellow college student, I think I can understand how you must feel at this juncture in your life. But hang in there, God is faithful! He owns the cattle on a thousand hills - he can surely provide for your family. He knows your heart and hears your prayers - and just recall Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." I will definitely be keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Two friends I have,
my dog and my God
Both would die for me,
Both give me grace to be me.
What more could I ask for?

Rest easy, Caolin! Your Father in Heaven will take care of your father on earth and all he is the covering for. You serve a mighty God who is "able to do exceedingly above all we can ask or think."
As the parent of a college-bound son, I know how the situation feels; plus I have 4 more right on his heels. But we can not go by feelings. We must "see things that are not as though they are." That's living by faith.
You and your family are in my prayers and I will add you to my church's prayer-line with your permission.
Keep us informed of how God works this out for your good. :)

Hey there Caolinn,
You can trust that God knows your situation completely. And that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
That last bit is from Hebrews 11:6 -
"Without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him."
DO NOT WORRY !thumbsup! Can be easier said than done, I know! But with a God who cares for us much more than many sparrows...where is that..
Matthew 6:26 -
Look at the sparrows: they do not plant seeds, gather a harvest and put it in barns; yet your Father in heaven takes care of them! Aren’t you worth much more than many sparrows?
Caolinn..I don't know what it's like where you're living. But I can't imagine there would be no other option available to you. Have you spoken with someone from the college about your situation? If you were to work a full time job would you be able to return to your studies at a later date? Is there any outside assistance that you are eligible for?
We're here for you. 'Here'...I'd love to be able to be 'there' for you but I live in Australia and am existing on a pretty tight budget myself! Are you part of a church in your area? Don't hesitate to share with the leadership there what you are going through. Even if you go to them requesting that they pray with you about the same thing you have asked for here: His guidance. God is able to show them things that confirm what He's been saying to you or that will make things clearer for you. Take courage and don't hesitate to say that you need help, even if you don't feel comfortable sharing exactly what it is with them. I know it can be a big step but remember you're part of a world-wide body of believers and you're seeking God, there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing that.
Matt 7:7-9 and Philippians 4:4-7.
God bless you Caolinn :) May He give you opportunities to connect with people around you, to be encouraged and to receive the support you need during this time. May God supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus..Phil 4 again! Haha :D In Jesus' name. Take care,
Love Jess.

Thank you for the support from all of you. ^-^
My sister and I went to a job interview this mornining and it sounds like there is a good chance that we may get the job. Please pray that this is an open door that God has meant for us to walk through.
I've decided that I'm going to trust God and finish school this fall.
Here goes another leap of faith.
