what is my story missing?

:( I need help with my story. I've written stories for a long time. But I know nothing about the rules of writing. I posted 4 pages of a children's story in the writer's workshop fiction... and noone has replied it. Is it bad? Is it missing something?? Is it not interesting??? I only have 8 veiws. Now something has to be wrong with it for noone to have an opinion. If it stinks I want to know. If it's not drawing you in enough to want to read more there's something wrong. What am I doing? I know I head hop... and change point of view... and the tense...and the spelling probably isn't right either... but I'm trying to learn. I to want learn. :rolleyes: But I don't know what to change if i don't have any feed back. So please someone have pity on me. Help a sister out. :o

I just made a post asking how i will know how many post then when i submitted it i saw it listed on the top right side ....needless to say i feel rather daft lol ....sigh. All in the learing process.

Looks like she had three replies. That's pretty good. :) I think that thread is closed now, but try and take a look at the fiction forum. It shouldn't take long before you can go there.
