:) Hi to all writers both young and mature. My name is Robin and I am looking to see how this works. I am basically computer illiterate but love to write both stories and poetry. Have not had any thing ever really published. Love to read many kinds of writings.

So glad to have you join our family. Just lounge around, browse, get to know everyone and ask any questions you like. We're here to help you get to that publishing place if that's your heart's desire!

Edit, Edit, Edit! Check your spelling, grammar, tenses, and sentence structure. Double space too. It's easier on the eyes! I just learned that today! Like a little fish in the ocean! Getting started is very intimidating! But you have many people here to help you and cheer you on! Noone wants you to fail, so ask lots of questions. I submitted 3 poems and part of a short story already. And Boy when the critics come in you get a little nervous, but everyone is very nice about it. I've never had any thing published either. I have multitudes to learn about writing. And what bbetter place to learn that on a christian website, with other writers! May the Lord Bless you indeed, enlarge your coast, that his band be with you always, that he keep you from evil that it may not grieve you, and that he grant you the prayers you requested. Praying for all the best!! :D

thanks for the advice babe i also seem to have another habit... have you read any of
e.e.cumming's wrtings? he is a poet that doesn't like capitalizations or punctuations. so please continue to critique, so that i can learn more. :)

welcome, eaglet. I'm new here too, with lots to learn. I've been writing for a long time, but I have gaps between my periods of writing where I'm either too busy with life itself, or just can't seem to get anything on paper. I found out that once I get it on paper, I can go whizz-bang, I just seem to have a problem facing a blank page. I hope that I can get help with that here. I'm sure we all have a problem area where we'd like to improve. God be with you!

Hi there,
nice to meet you. The people here are really friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to seeing some of your writing. How long have you been using a pc? I've only had mine for about 18 months.
All the best,
Rulan

Welcome Eaglet!

If you have some things ready and want critiques, take part in the workshops. They are great for getting things worked out.
