Hey here is a tip for quickly getting current definitions for a word. Go to Google.com and type "define:" immediately followed by the word you want to look up.

For example, suppose you want to look up the word "defribrilation." So you would go to Google and type in:

define:defibrillation

It will bring up a list of definitions from a variety of sources.

This is very handy if you have a broadband connection because it is instantly at hand. !thumbsup!

I didn't know you could use the call define like that--but I have been typing the word into Google, and clicking the define box in the search results bar.

Hyperdictionary.com is also very useful...

I really liked the define feature and have started using it. Thanks! When I showed it to another friend, he already knew about it and showed me even more things that google can do.

1. If you type in a properly formatted phone number (dashes or parentheses) with area code, it will look int up in the phone book for you.

2. If you type in simple math formulas like "5 * 6 + 4" google will act like a calculator.

_____You could just download the whole dictionary in htm format.
http://www.translatum.gr/dictionaries/download-english.htm
_____Or go to www.dictionary.com and sample their's. Or; http://www.online-dictionary.biz or maybe this http://www.m-w.com/.
_____Anyway, I think I could come up with at least two more, but I need to get to work some time this morning. :D
