Greetings to all!
Wow! I've spent the last hour or so reading through some of the posts and all I can say is God is good!
I'll keep this brief.
I am an artist, and my God given talents run in many directions. Recently my pull has been in 3D art but I have a BFA in Drawing with minors in Iluustration & Graphic Design.
http://www.Hisart.us
So why am I here?
Over the last several years I've been writing five (or is it six?) books. A para here a page there, etc. Sci-Fi/Mystery/Horror(?) are the general direction they are in - a sort of Born-again Terminator vs Alien Murder Mystery...kinda?
Recently I've been "guided" to do something with these books. Which leads me here. As far as who I am? Well I am a Born-Again (11-13-91) biker. Ex-"just about everything". I am happily married (93') and we have six kids - 11,9,8,6,5,3. :D
I have been a "full-time" artist since Mar '05 (I don't draw (pun) a pay-check). ;)
I love to read, oh and for the record I try to read one book a week. !thumbsup!
I also have a blog that has nothing to do with my books or art.
http://Hisart777.blogspot.com
Well that's about it.
God Bless!

Hisart,

Glad to meet you! I visited your website. Very cool... I wish I’d have known about you a year ago. Have you done many book covers?

Hi there!

If you have time, swing by The Sword Review and have a look around. (Link in signature). We are ALWAYS looking for good cover art and story illustrations! We don't pay much, but we do pay.

Hope you enjoy Christain Writers as much as I do.

Six kids ... wow, what a blessing. !thumbsup!

Oh yeah ... welcome to the group.

I think you'll find a lot of folks here are multi-talented, either in the types of writing they do or the diversity of their talents.

You're gonna love it here.

Blessings, Francine

Hi Hisart, I just came from looking at some of your handcarved work. My main medium was Pastel, then oil and mixed media collage. Was a portrait / people painter for about 30 years. Stuff is all packed away, as God led me to start writing poetry and short stories several years ago. I can't do the type of 3-d thing you do at all, but love to see it anyway. Absolutly love the one with the cross and banner ("I am, etc.) Sorry I have no way to show you my work at present. I'm an ex-everything also--including ex con--isn't Jesus good to us? God bless!

Jim.

I just browsed your blog and art. My favorite on your art site was "My Castle". I love castles and well, just about anything historically related to the dark and middle ages and the Renaissance. :)

Also, your blog is one of the most well written I've seen. It's always nice when people take the time to make their sites look professional. !thumbsup!

You mentioned that you were a biker, I forgot to ask in my other reply, have you ever been to Hogs Rest in Kansas? Actually, I'm not sure if it's on the Kansas or Oklahoma side of the line. I don't know if it's as popular as it used to be, but a lot of people used to go there. Of couse, it's NO WHERE as big as Sturgis.

Hay Hisart,
I had not realized you had such a real deal web site. Very cool and most well done. Checked out some of your carvings. I am impressed. I have a brother-in -law whose degree is in graphic arts. He is a seller of insurances and not very fullfilled. You have used what God gave you and made it into more to His Glory. Most Cool!
Blessings,
The Quadfather !thumbsup!

I just redid my web-site, wrote it out in html. The original was a template and didn't look right to me so I went and learned html.
Check it out and let me know what you think.
