My name is Tina Vargas and I just found this site yesterday. After spending some time looking around I am eager to join this community. I write fiction and am currently working on my first book, which I will post for critique. I need help :) I know I have a lot to learn and am eager to get started.

Welcome! What genre of fiction do you write?

I am loath to use the word 'horror' to catagorize the fiction I write. I am currently working on a 'girl finds Christ through tragedy, Christ works through girl to fight evil' type story. Where would be the proper place to post this work?

If you have some short stories ready for publication, I'd love to see you submit to the web magazine I run (http://www.theswordreview.com). So far we have had only one horror go through. If your horror has a "Christian-centric" aspect, please consider submitting. We are paying 1/2 cent a word up $25.00....

I write fantasy and sci-fi, as well as some near-mainstream/literary fiction. My published works have included all three. No books yet. :(
