Hello,

David here. I am a physicist living in New Hampshire, with a wife, two sons, and a dog. I'm a died-in-the-wool Calvinist.

I have new novel out and a new short story out (which are also my only novel and my only short story).

This site would have been helpful while I was writing--but somehow I never came across it! Still, I know I'll enjoy poking around.

Welcome, Heddle,

Enjoy your 'poking around'. You'll meet some delightful people, and you just might learn something about writing!

Have a great day!

Welcome! I promise not to concoct anything designed to explode your monitor, really!

Is that the dead tree version? If not, when will it be available?

Gumpngreen, the link you posted is to the dead tree version of my novel. The short story with the exploding screen is out in e-form, and in dead tree next month.

Thanks again to all those welcoming me to the site!

About the exploding monitor: I checked with some friends who have been in the IT industry for over 15 years and they also had never heard of a monitor go to that extreme. Still, it makes for an interesting beginning. SciFi stretches the facts all the time so it isn't that big of a deal. Besides, it's "possible" that it could happen. ;)
