I'm a writer based in Billings, Montana (you know, Montana: center of the publishing universe), and happy to discover this community. "Hi" to all.

Welcome TL! Billings, Montana sounds good to me. Do you hunt? I know that's a dangerous question sometimes with everyone's feelings about guns, but I love to hunt.
Anyway, welcome. Glad to have you with us. :)

Hey, TL, welcome! How's the ribs doing? Yeah, I'll bet Montana is a pretty good place for hunting. Down here in Florida everything is either endangered or thinking about being endangered...unless you want to shoot an alligator once a year...then you have to haul it away...I'd need a back hoe.

Wow, thanks for the warm welcomes, everyone. Some of my fondest childhood memories involve hunting with my grandfather; these days, however, about the only thing I hunt is a softer spot on the sofa.

Montana!
Land of the Big Sky
and people looking up at the stars
and asking
Why?
Am I out here looking up at the sky
in Montana?

(just kidding. Don't hunt me down.)

Bill - I've written all kinds of things: magazine articles, travel guides, annual reports, and, sigh, a coffee table book.

These days, I'm most interested in novel-length fiction, and tend to write stuff with a speculative edge: call me a Frank Peretti/Ted Dekker wannabe. :)

I'm in re-write phase of a thriller, and am thinking about a more speculative work -- I find these exciting works pretty fun to write.
