_____I just put up a note on the bottom of my sites main page. I was wondering if you people thought it was apropriat.

Important Note
_____I was placing up a new chapter about every two weeks, but some things have come up. Looking into loans, wages, homes, cost of living and so forth has taken up almost all my time.
_____Aside from all that, I’ve been too stressed to edit properly. I have my little girls, wife, and sanity to keep an eye on.
_____For now, I’m mainly only doing my hobbies..Gif Animations, video games, and listening to music. I may edit if I actually get four hours of peace and quite, but I doubt that will happen. I hope all this moving stuff is out of the way soon so I can get back to work.
_____In the main time, I don’t know anyone who has read all of the fifteen chapters currently up. No sense stressing over it if no one needs the next chapters to read.

_____That's pritty much the truth. If I went into any more detail, people would think I'm crazy (so what if I am).

You know, I put three sample chapters of my novel on my website. I was looking at the stats today--23 views on the first chapter, 4 views on the second, 3 on the third. I was actually thinking of starting a thread to ask if anyone else had more than one page of content up, and what percentage of readers actually followed through from one chapter to the next. Roughly 16% follow through to chapter two and 12.5% follow through on chapter three (from chapter one) have me kinda buggered. I guess most people make up their mind on the first chapter and move on.

In any case, no I don't think it's inappropriate at all.

_____I was thinking of starting a web-ring of writers who actuly have their work up on their own site. I know what you mean by the chapter thing though. People judge pritty fast. My work seems all fantasy at first, but it gets more tech like later. Sort of like a vampire thing, but with no vampires -- naa that's a dumb comparison.
