Hello guys, happy and privileged to be here! This is amazing. I was doing a search the other night for a completely different topic, and found an old thread from a "secular" writers forum, with a Christian section, and followed the link.
Well I registered, they told me I could submit my work and after I dunno, let's just say many views, still no replies. Didn't quite know how to take that -- was it that awful? Anyway, I decided to take my ball and to play in this sandbox.
I never really started calling myself a writer until maybe a year ago. Although I've been "writing" articles, poems, songs, ad copy, greeting cards, etc since I was about 12.
Writing is a part of me, just something I do and I didn't think it needed a label.
I don't know anything about writing styles, grammar, sentence structure, or any of that stuff I just write what God leads me to write. I'm here to learn. I don't believe in coincidence and the Lord had me find that thread for a reason. Probably because...
....I'm about to start the manuscript (I didn't even know that term until somebody told me that's what a rough copy was) on "My Story". I've already begun with bits and pieces as God gives it to me, and hopefully, I'll be done before the end of the year. I wish I had more time to devote to the book, but my plate is a bit full right now.
In any event, I'm glad to be here, and look forward to the learning experience of a life time.
