Anyone know of a somewhat shady rinky dink operation that does their printing on a black market printing press in their garage and who requires no money up front but simply a 50% kickback on profits and is willing to publish anything written by anyone including but not limited to my cat?

An additional requirement would be a willingness to work with poets with insomnia who write tremendously atrotious run-on sentences asking what seem to be random and meaningless inquiries but in all truth is a serious question to which they are seeking an answer.

Thank you. Have a cookie. Good night.

Dear FireFeet

I have one experience with poetry publishers which was not good! I sent a poem to a contest. When I wrote to ask who won the contest, they said there was not contest. But the did print my poem in a poetry anthology and kept trying to sell me plaques, cups, and etc. with my poem on them. I suppose that gave my poem exposure, but I am still disillusioned with poetry publishers!

I have poems to my church publication, which offer no payment, but I get more satisfaction from being published there than to experiment with poetry publishers! However, there may be some who do right by poets.

Please forgive me for sounding cynical!

Yes, I've come across those types of places in my search. <shudder> They make a mockery of the art of poetry.
