Some of my thoughts about it:
The trailer looks cool, but its too fast to see stuff clearly. It does look a lot lighter (in tone and colour) then I first thought it would but this suits Narnia better. Seeing the trailer I'd probably say its a high possibility it will be a PG movie. Would have been nice to have Jadis with black hair, but I guess you can't have it all.

It will be shown before Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and will be shown on tv May 7th. (Info from Narniaweb.com)

Enjoy!

It looks like it will be a well made movie, but it's not due out to December. I wish they would move it up to the summertime after SWep3. The trailer, especially toward the end, is really cool.

Looking forward to watching this with my children. A great movie that points to greater truths.

What did you think about it Jones? Apart from the poor contrast and quality because its bootleg?

The video itself reminded me of a version of Mission Impossible 2 that a friend of mine in college downloaded and wanted me to watch (FYI--we'd already paid to see the film in the theater once). This bootleg was shot somewhere in Asia Pacific by someone holding a camcorder in a theater, you could see the heads of people in the theater, everytime somebody got up it blocked the shot, and there were Chinese or Japanese subtitles at the bottom of the picture.

So, uh, I didn't actually pay a whole lot of attention to the content of the trailer. I was on a little trip down memory lane to the first--and last--time I saw a bootlegged movie.

All I know is, if Walt Disney Pictures is involved with the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, it will be a spectacular production. Though, I kinda wish Dreamworks had done it instead. And that shot of the Lion there toward the end was awesome. Though, the house they were in reminded me a lot of The Others.

Because of computer troubles I haven't been able to get a good look at the trailer until last night. I actually watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets just because they were premiering the trailer during the breaks( on one hand it's ok, cuz I have this too-well-known-for-his-own-good third cousin whose been in all of those movies so far, talk about a reminder to pray for the kid.) But the trailer, was absolutely amazing! I had already talked about to my class about going to see it together next year as a field trip. After seeing only the rather tame BBC version, this one looks like it takes off! Can't wait!
