Graphic Design Portfolio

I'm applying for a job as a graphic designer with the local newspaper and they want to see a portfolio of work. My question is, what format (i.e., print layout) does that need to be presented in? I'm going to try to use the church's full-color commercial printer tonight, but I want to get the files formatted and ready to go before church.

If you search through their site you may find what you need. I think there's a place in there where you can do a free portfolio or at least learn how do do one. Please let me know how you get on with it? I also do art and may one day need to do a portfolio. All the best !thumbsup!
