Good Morning from Texas! I have written a wonderful (guess all of think our book is wonderful??) new childrens' book and have contacted Dorrance Publishing. I was so excited when they said that they were interested in subsizing it. It is full of moral and tread people kindly sort of things. Then I went to the internet and saw the postings on your website about what dirty rotten scroundrels they are and now I am so disappointed. Was this an old viewpoint and have they improved or are they still printers to watch?? Thanks, BillieSue

Billie Sue,
The best place to find out that kind of info is at this website:http://www.anotherealm.com/prededitors/ and click on Book Publishers. You can also contact Victoria Strauss (the monitor of the site) and she will get back to you with an answer. It always is a good idea to check out any agent or subsidy/vanity press before you get excited.
God bless you in your endeavors. There is a place for your wonderful book but it will take some good old fashioned research and submitting.
Oh, BTW welcome to ChristianWriters. So glad to have you come aboard.
God Bless

No decent publisher should ask you to subsidize your book. An honest to goodness publisher pays YOU, not the other way around. (And a decent self publishing house doesn't pretend to be a traditional publisher, either.)
I hope this helps...
