This is what I also would love to do and I am studying script writing, reading about the "How too's".

I have a "rad" idea for preaching the gospel with Sci-fi idealisms. I and a fellow church member are praying up idea's to help get my Christian movie idea which is The Holy Spirit's up to par experimenting with make-believe wierdness so those in sci-fi such as trekkies can learn about Jesus death, resurrection, and what he finished. Anyone with encouragement pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaase pray and send your loving encouragement to keep me in focus and accountabilty to what I just wrote to you he he.
All the prayer I can get. I really would like to start a Christian film, Movie co. or something to produce Good stuff to watch instead of the poo poo that's on TV and in the movie's.
We need more actors, film people, etc. so we can watch encouraging things if we like TV or dvd's or going to the movies. What a dreamer I am, sheesh! :D So praaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. tank you. :D !thumbsup! :rolleyes: :cool: :p :)

I am a Christian minister of young people. I have written plays with Christian themes for young people. Today's youth need to be reached in ways that seem rather unconventional for adults. Drama is becoming one of the most fascinating ways to reach youth. When writing my plays, I think about what it was like for me when I was young and then I try to picture myself if I were a youth today. Today's youth face different struggles than I did, but the issues are about the same. I encourage you to write plays that reach out to young people. Young people need to know the same Jesus Christ we know personally. Drama can help them discover who He is in a whole new way. Keep up the good work in your writing. May God inspire you to show the world about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I have things in mind for the youth definately. my script story lines I am creating with the Lord is for the imaginative youth but this is more the focus when it comes to spreading the word. I a wannabe C.S. lewis and want to accomplish something cool like he did and am working on it now. Thanks for the encouragement. :D

The youth in my church are highly involved in drama and mime. It's like a supercharge for them. They can demonstrate their talent, glorify God, and minister to Christian and non-Christian alike.
It's been highly successful for our church, because today's youth don't want to do it the way we did. They want to show independence and maturity in a new, innovative form. We all did the same thing. Each generation wants to explore their uniqueness.
I pray for you, and I encourage you to give it all you have. We're losing our youth to a hi-tech world if we don't get busy with the Master Innovator's plans.
As the father of 5 (3 pre-teens and 2 teens), I know my kids would be highly excited with such a project as sci-fi Gospel to look forward to.Only don't call it sci-fi. There's no fiction there. I know you know that. Just come up with a new name. It'll be a new art form. Wow! That's heavy to think of. Man, I say go for it and go for it with the Spirit guiding you each step of the way.

Thank you again for encouragement. I really need encouragement in my life becuase I never had it growing up too much.
And your advice on sci-fi, maybe just the idea will be in that format, I wouldn't know what to call it but the Lord does. :D !thumbsup! :D !thumbsup!
