The guidelines for Writer's Workshop and Poetry Workshop don't say how to become a full member. It says "probationary period" but doesn't say how long that is. The FAQs say we have to make ten posts, but you might want to put that fact into the workshop guidelines.

Thanks for your suggestion! :) I split this one off and started a new thread so it's easier to track and include when we update.

Currently I'm in the midst of remodeling this entire site, and I'll definitely keep your suggestion in mind. We've enjoyed a large number of new members recently, and I'd like to do whatever I can to make it easier for them to acclimate and feel welcome here.
