" but there has to be a champion out there for each writer. Sometimes it is a family member or friend. Sometimes it is someone on line."

My mother is that person. At 84 she more for me than anybody.
Can't help but be grateful for her.
I always tell her she is still around because I need her.

Ok, so I'm a 49 year old Mamm's Boy!...I'm not ashamed of it!

BTW, its great to have you guys on this site around as well.
I think maybe we need eachother just a little.

James warns that we might look at ourselves in a mirror and forget what we look like. Christian brothers and sisters help us not to forget. They can speak the word of God to us that acts as a mirror.

You are blessed in this, BrotherDave.

I was once part of a three person writing group that would get together periodically, and each person would bring some new material to read over. People's jobs, time, and distance, as well as other factors, seemed to pull us apart. Now I am basically on my own. Thanks to the feedback from a few of my loyal readers and the encouragement of a fellow writer on this site, I have begun writing again and I am close to finishing the rough draft for my third novel.

Thank the Lord for the "Champions."

Congrats on writing again and on your third book, Christ Child. That's super. I'm glad you're here. :)
Brother Dave, you are correct. We all need a Champion, and mine is also my mother. She's 85? and my brother prints out all my writing for her. She loves it and says she is so proud that I am writing. Both her and my brother are still amazed at how much change they have seen in me over the years. My brother thought I would wind up dead cause he knew how I was then. So, I guess he's my Champion also. Cool how God does that, huh?

Brother Dave I so love your humble attitude...my mother, with the Lord now for 25 years, is still one of my champions. I began writing poetry, (this is a part of my testimony which is on my website, although writing is a small part of it) right before she died. In the last few months after going through some of my parent papers and my dads world war II recognitions, I found some poetry that my mother wrote to my dad. I had never seen it before, but it so touched my heart. I am certain that will be a "Poets Corner" in heaven and I will see her there.....

I was looking for some encouragement today after a very long painful experience this
morning.....which is why I found myself searching the encouragement forum. Thanks
to all in this group for sharing.
