I am sorry if I have offended anyone with any of the posting I made. That was not my intention. I am not that good at using the computer so I can't find my way around this site very well. I'm not sure what to look at or who to ask where to look. Since I have not done anything but make people angry it would probably be best if I just drop out. Please forgive the blunder. I am truly sorry. :o

Hi Barbara,

I don't think anyone is angry with you, and we definitely don't want you to feel unwelcome. To be honest, I'm not sure what you're referring to. Is there something wrong I should know about? How can I help out?

Thanks, :)
Rebecca

Barbara,

I went back and looked at all your posts to date and it simply looks like you are asking for some help in figuring out this here forum board - can't fault you for that.

If I understand the rules correctly, you have to wait until you post 10 recognized posts (you'll see how many are recognized by your name). Then you will be allowed to post your work for review in the Writer's Workshop or the Poetry Workshop.

The best way to get there (The recognized posts) is to critique or comment on stuff already found in the Workshop area. Once you hit ten posts you're good to go.

Glenn :)

Barbara,
_____Hold on a sec, you're leaving because of what? I'm not understanding this at all. You haven't offended me, and I'm the easyest person on this board to offend (ask around I may be wrong). Eather way, I see no reasion for you to leave, and I'm offended that you want to leave. :p You better stay, or I'll chew my nails off... wait, I already do that. Dang it!
_____Ok all jokeing aside, you should stay. I'm not saying you should join the bat cave though. We are pritty mean in there. :D Everywhere else here should be very safe.

Thanks for the help. I'm not really good at this. It is difficult to find my way around in this site. I know it isn't for some, but I guess I not that good at this. I do write my stuff on the computer, but I have never talked in a chat room, or anywhere else like this site. Thanks again.

Barbara,

Maybe you could tell us what you are trying to do and we can help you figure out how to do it. I came to my first message board this past April and now I'm as familiar with it as I would be a phone. It can be a little unnerving trying to figure out where to click for the things you want to do. I'm certain any of the good folk here at CW can help. Don't be afraid to ask.

Glenn :)

Barbara,

Your best bet is to check out the site map (http://4Believers.com/writers/index.php?page=map) at http://4Believers.com/writers/index.php?page=map. It explains all the different areas of the site. :)

Thanks for all the support. I was really needing that. It is very frustrating to try to find my way around. Since I have never done anything like this. I'm not even sure how the chat room works. I have been writing a few years now and I didn't know how to go about getting anything published, or if any of my stuff was good enough. Thanks again. May God bless you all.

Barbara,

We'll start off with an important one.

At the top of your screen you will see a logo for Christian Writers.com - below that you will find links that say Home Community Tools Support Search Quick Links My Account Log Out

Below that (in light blue) you will see ChristianWriter.com > Forum - When you click on the Forum key it will take you back to the main menue for the forum that includes the primary categories for the forum. This will be the easiest way to get back to that page - simply click on Forum.

The Quick Links Button allows you to check out the latest posts.

When you reply to a thread you are subscribed to that thread and you will receive an email when someone replies.

These are just a few things for you to look through. See if they help you at all.

Feel free to ask specific questions about navigating. It's sort of like learning to drive - once you figure it out it's not a problem, but it's the first few times that cause the most problems.

Glenn !thumbsup!
