Parables (http://www.parablesmag.com) is looking for some funny short stories. Our next issue will feature the comedy genre. (See our genre line-up (http://www.parablesmag.com/genrelineup.html) for all the full list of our story needs.) Since we can only choose three stories, the competition will be stiff. Write your best and remember to be professional. Read our guidelines (http://www.parablesmag.com/guidelines.html) carefully before submitting to Parables. I was honored to be one of the first accepted for publication through Parable (A 2,500 word story called "Sam Martin").

If my word is worth anything - feel free to jump in. Not for the faint of heart - they will send your stuff back (even if they accept it) for revisions. It's all good.
