I have had material published in the following since it started this past year. I know the editor personally and highly recommend it - it is for both women and men.

A Man's Viewpoint. Articles may be humorous, informative, enlightening and/or encouraging and written from a man's personal perspective - Word Count - 750 to 1500 words - Subject material should include personal observations on the differences between the sexes, marriage, dating, parenting, role responsibilities and effective communication between spouses. The Research Depot

The Sisters in the Lord Magazine seeks interested candidates for a weekly columnist position.

This candidate must be sensitive and tolerant to the religious backgrounds of others. The candidate should possess a strong background in theology and/or be available to research information to provide history and significant data in each article.

This department will provide informative and educational articles about the different denominations, customs, observances, and religion of Sacred Faith. Articles must be non-argumentative, non-accusatory nor may they disparage the reputation of any person, religion or teaching. The goal of The Research Depot is to provide well organized material which serves to educate Christians about the differences in religions and better supply God’s children with solid facts they can later use to witness to others.

Style: Informative and/or Educational Format.
Word count: 1000-2000

You are required to submit an article every week.

Gain worldwide exposure for your work and name. Create a name for yourself on the Internet as an established Christian writer and columnist. Use this experience to aid you in the future. Experience is valuable.

You will receive full credit for your story and column. You retain all rights to your work; Sisters in the Lord reserves the right to archive your articles for an indefinite period, but if requested, archived articles will be removed if you have an opportunity to re-publish said article.

You will have the ability to receive feedback from readers.

You will get a free, personalized @sistersinthelord.org e-mail address.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate and share ideas with other Christian writers and Editors on the staff to improve your skills.

Writing for us is a non-paying position and is strictly volunteer work. Like us, you are contributing due strictly to your love of Jesus and desire to share your thoughts and writing style with a sizeable audience.

Interested candidates should submit a resume and three writing samples that closely resemble the style of The Research Depot to Dian Moore, Editor-in-Chief, at dian@sistersinthelord.org. All documentation may be attached to the email in Word format. Deadline for applicants is February 15th. The column will begin March 1, so one of your samples should be a piece suitable for publication.
