Uplifting Christmas Gift

Lately my family has been going through alot of things. I recieved a book called JOHN 1:12
for Christmas from a friend. After reading it, I felt ashamed complaining about my minor problems. It really help me out. No matter what the people went through, they never kept their eyes off God.

Can anyone suggest any inspirational books?

I've got a chance to read bits and pieces of it also. It's an inspiring book.
