:) Reading the 23rd Psalm, I thought " what would we do had no one wrote this beautiful Psalm. The comfort it has been to untold numbers of people over the millennia.
Those of us who become weary of writing because we have not been discovered yet, have one thing in common, a desire to have others find pleasure in what we write and to make a little money at it. However, the idea that people would be comforted by the words I've written, or just keep walking in the Lord because of something I typed out when I felt good, or change thier direction because I shared a mistake I made. To know these people made it home, when I stand before God, would be reward enough. Yes, I'd still like to make a lot of money, but more than that, I'd like to win a lot of souls.
The Lord told Daniel to write: Write the vision. What else can a writer do but write? Write our vision. Write what we see. Then leave the rest to the author of our faith. A vision is meant to be shared. So write your vision, share your story, because it is one of a kind.

Thanks for the encouragement Justonevoice. I must always remind myself that God has given each of us things to write that He wants us to hold onto and finish and not toss aside. I get so jazzed about possibilities for writing projects, I sometimes forget the ones God has placed in my care for finishing. The hard part is to keep going when the "vision" seems to have dimmed or the glimmer faded altogether. But isn't that just part of our walk by faith. It's 90% focusing on Christ and running the race set before us. If we waited to be inspired and motivated before we finished the project or reached the goal or just simply obeyed our master's voice, I fear we'd all be wandering in the wilderness most of the time. Thanks for reminding me I must just keep going and let Him take care of the rest.

If a thrown stone were to hit your eye, the same set of nerves that saw the thing fly would be stimulated and you would 'see' the thing in a whole new way. One aspect of the projectile would stand high above the rest. What is the single highest aspect of the vision you choose to write? Justonevoice speaks of weariness in the quest for recognition and asks 'what would we do if no one had penned the 23Psalm?' We would all be one Psalm poorer. Enrich us, Justonevoice. Pour of your heart then do it again. The question you asked and the tiny drop of emotion you shared sparkle with hidden fire. Ask the One who anoints with the Holy Spirit and fire to fan your sparks. You too DrRita. Then write the true sight in your vision. Forget the impact of the stone. May the true muse, Jesus of Nazareth, share His FIRE with your pen. Remember, you are His pen. Sidewinder4

I wrote a poem that actually said something very close to that. It spoke of Christ moving my hands to write. Than you so much for your kind words and the inspiration they provoked in me.

Yes, you said it so well.
Money would be great, but if I make not one penny from writing this book, yet show the way for a lost soul to reach home, then I will be eternally rich. And richer still will I be for seeing my Lords face fill with joy over the safe arrival of a child of His.

"It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness." A sunday afternoon religious program than ran sometime in the '50's [yes I'm older than even that] started with that phrase then proceeded to put me to sleep. The single hand lighing the single candle against eternity was most interesting, droop, snore, but the rest of the program wasn't to a small child who was only interested in cowboys.
So? Mail it. E-mail it. Leave copies around. Of your vision of course. [Don't be afraid to use sentence fragments.] Phone, it may surprise you who you can get on the phone. I had a sports editor at the Omaha World-Herald newspaper on the phone a couple of days ago on the first try. The same me who used to be afraid of THE PHONE for years. "I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me." Every experience is good experience some are just a lot more comfortable than others. Read too. Your stuff isn't perfect. But make each piece better than the last. Wrte a lot. Use spell check. RITE, wryte, use spell check, write. Is 'write' right or wright? Pray.
Read, you will be surprised how much stuff in print isn't as good as yours. I'll bet some [or all] of your stuff, [ahem! I meant your excellent work] is better than what was just pecked out by Sidewinder4. !thumbsup!

This is VERY good! Call me crazy, you won't be the 1st:D , but I sometimes wonder if our visions to write, inspired by God, will someday be additions to our current Bible. You know, that God wants us to write things that we experience now, and the events of now, for people to read in the future.

Theophony?
Here
everywhere.
Very good.
is God within?
Sure,
in my heart of course.
Only share;
Now of course, Him of course.
