I also watch Stargate Atlantis when Grandma brings over the tapes. She has cable tv and tapes it for us.

Today was the first time I ever noticed the part Mykelti Williamson's character has just been shot, he tells Nick Cage that he's going to die and he can't stop feeling like there's no God, and Nick Cage stands up. He asks Cage where he's going, Cage responds, "To show you there is a God."

Of course, today was the first time I realized Mykelti Williamson was even in the movie.

I totally LOVED Titus.

Stacy Keech looked and acted so much like my father (before he died) that it was amazing. It was almost like therapy to watch that show. I could laugh about the things that were so painful when I was living them.

Yeah, I picked up all 3 seasons of Titus a couple of years ago for $15. It was my favorite show on TV for the first and second season, I don't think I ever saw the third season on TV. Funny, but painful at times--watching it is like a therapy session.

I think my favorite episode is when Dave gets arrested and the family comes down to the police station... either that or the Thanksgiving episode. :D

But I was catching up on the original BBC ones and WOW. Ramsey really knows his stuff and I am amazed at what he finds in these restaurants. Makes me want to eat at home.

The best ones are when the owners of the restaurant start arguing with Ramsay like they know so much more than him when a) they called him because their restaurant was failing in the first place, and b) he's got a couple dozen successful restaurants around the world that most people can't even afford to eat at that stay packed all the time.

Case in point--the Black Pearl, a restaurant that should have been a NYC tourist mecca but closed down four days after the episode aired. Duh!
