Have any of you read Heaven by Randy Alcorn? It's a book about what the Bible teaches about Heaven. I'm half way done with and so far it is AWESOME!!!

Everyone MUST read this!!!

Yes! I read it, and my husband led a long Sunday school series on it, but too long ago for me to recall any specifics. We had lots of excellent discussions, had a few of our personal myths busted, and thoroughly enjoyed the book. BTW, my husband went to seminary with Randy. He's a very respected pastor and theologian.

Yay! Somebody else who has read it.

I also read a few years ago his novel called Safely Home. Very vivid book and opened my eyes about persecution in China (and in other countries.)

That's on my wish list! I've heard that it is good. I loved Safely Home and have passed that book to more people than I can count :)

Yep, it's been a while...too long for me to remember a lot of the finer points, but I read it and remember really enjoying Alcorn's studied take on heavenly matters.

Another book that holds similar positions to Alcorn's, but isn't as long of a read is called, "The Real Heaven" by Joe Beam and Lee Wilson. It can be ordered at Amazon.com or at http://www.therealheaven.com and is just over 100 pages. I read it in about and hour and it changed my life!
