update on Vivica from my Niece

VIVICA HAS HAD A STROKE
PLEASE PRAY
Vivica woke up as usual yesterday morning, July 27th. I removed her from her dialysis, like we do every morning. She was her normal self. She walked up the stairs, by herself, and ran herself a bath. She got in in the tub, as usual, by herself. I came in the bathroom to check on her and these are the events that followed: She was drooling. She is a jokster, so I thought she was playing around. I wiped it off, but the drooling continued. I could see something was not right with her, so I aske her to smile. She was unable to smile with the left side of her face. Again, being the jokster that she is, I asked Ali if she was able to smile with one side of her face. Seeing Ali was not able to do this, I knew something was wrong. She informed me she was unable to see. I panicked and called 911. I took her out of the tub, tried to stand her up and realized there was something wrong with her whole left side. She was taken to the Monticello-Buffalo hospital to be stabalized, then transported to Children's. She was taken with lights and sirens, very frightening. She was given a CT scan, where it was confirmed she did have a stroke. It was a non-hemorrhagic stroke. She was put into the PICU. She will be here for at least 72 hours. This is a very critical time, as they are concerned for her risk of having another stroke. She will be midly sedated. Visitors are limited. She needs a ton of rest, so things can begin to heal. She has lost significant function on her left side. She is very uncomfortable, unhappy, and in a lot of pain. She will be having an EEG and a MRI today. I will update as often as I can. Please, please keep her in your prayers!!!
