It's difficult to reply to peoples' post in the critique forums, because we have all this code we have to keep track of like color and making sure the spacing is right.

Because of that, it's easier to copy it, paste it in Word or another word processor, do our comments, and then email it as an attachment. That's what several of us have been doing and as a result, we don't get any critique points for those.

So I have a suggestion. No idea how plausible this is, but is there a way we could download someone's post in .rtf and then upload our critique in .rtf?

Thanks,

Kellie, I usually do what you have said you do. However, I've never noticed that no points are given, mainly because I don't pay any attention to my points. I'm not sure why that would occur. A post is a post. Hmmm...I'd like to know the answer to this one.

What I usually do to keep from loosing points is to just post part of the critque then email the full version to the person the email is going to. What would be perfect would be if we could copy and paste our word document into CW and have it come out looking just like it did in word.

i'm sure that isn't possible LOL!!!
The reason i post it in to word mostly is it seems easier to make corrections there in Word.

:o Sorry for not posting on this earlier.

Points are issued when you post critiques done in Word as an attachment. !thumbsup!

Oh you can attachments on critique posts? I knew you could do that when starting a thread, didn't realize you could do it when critiquing. By the way, I remember looking at those and .rtf isn't one of the acceptable formats. However, I can easily create a .pdf so I might go that route. (I don't use .doc because it isn't always dependable and people aren't always able to open my .doc files)

Thanks for posting that info!

When you are making a post you have to "Go advanced" and then scroll down to where it says "Additional Options" then "Attach Files"

Click "Manage attachments" and the upload the file you want to upload.
