Simon Peter, fisherman
Skilled in his profession
Fished all night
But nothing caught
This was his confession

Tired and weary
When morning came
He needed rest and food
Ready now to give it up
But, there Jesus stood

Jesus said, "Simon
Do it again
Go out into the deep
Let down your net
Bring in many fish to keep"

Simon Peter obeyed the Lord
And in doubt he began again
He caught so many fish
He broke his net as he pulled them in

IN THIS THERE IS A LESSON FOR US TO RECEIVE

Perhaps OUR life has been spent
Working with little success
The work time seems over
It looks like time to rest

But, there are the words of Jesus
Telling us "Go back into the work"
Perhaps we know we've not excelled
But by obedience we are compelled

Obedience is better than sacrifice
And brings us great reward
For Jesus has never
Turned back on His Word

Get ready! Get ready!
The time of reaping has come
Although you're tired, be inspired
The strength is His alone

THE WORD "RETIRED" FROM HIS WORK
TO US SHOULD BE UNKNOWN

Even in youth the strength to do
By Him is given and as long as in
This body we're living
The strength, His work to do
Will come to you

Get up! Get Out!
By His command
"Go into the world
Fish for men!"
