It seems to be rather difficult to keep a conversation going in the social groups. I think we all forget at times to check for new posts. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep up the interest or keep a conversation going?

I think we just have to get in the habit, Lynn. However, it might help if there was a link to the social groups on the front page instead of having to click on our user cp.

That would be nice. I still haven't figured out how to find them.

I ran across that problem myself.

Oh good. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's had trouble finding the social groups. :)

Go to your User CP. Over on the right, scroll down a ways.

I forget about them most often. It's hard to keep up on something that is new and has no real accesability, you know?

Maybe we should post in member notes every so often to check the social groups.

That might work, yes. Very good idea.

I think it would be better, if it had a link at the top of the page by Forum List and 4 Beleivers and TOS etc.

Yea some kind of link would be helpful. they are kind of hard to find for some and not easy to get to. i don't want to complain cause becca is so good to us. But may be when she gets time she can work something out.

There is a place to go where you can post to more than one social network at a time. It's at http://ping.fm. This is a new service so it's still in beta. The last time I checked the entry code was tastyping. At ping, you get a posting email address, so every time you want to update your status on FaceBook, MySpace, Plaxo, Twitter or a dozen other places, all you do is send a short email to that posting email address and it automatically appears in all of those places. I love it that they have this available for email. It's so convenient.
