I have four short stories ready to go, but I'm totally lost when it comes to looking for markets, especially markets for Christian-oriented short fiction. I have a coulpe iof stories more or less directed to YA readers and a coulpe that might work for adult or YA readers.

Any suggestions?

I would check Sally Stuart's Christian Writers Market or google "Short Story" and "Christian".

I don't know about YA markets, but as far as adult markets go here are some literary journals:

Image (http://imagejournal.org/)
Rock & Sling (http://www.rockandsling.org/)
Ruminate (http://www.ruminate-online.org/)
And of course the best journal out there...Relief: A Quarterly Christian Expression (http://www.reliefjournal.com/)!

You should also know I help edit Relief, so I might be ever so slightly biased. :D

You could always Google "short story competition" and perhaps make a few $$$ by submitting your stories there instead of trying to find a publication that would print it. I've just submitted a short story for a competition that pays a little over $3000.

Well, that's my $0.02 at least...

Writer's Market from Writer's Digest often has a surprising number of markets listed for teens. Some even take Christian stuff.
