Would you all please pray for my husband? With prices going up all over the place he is beginning to get frustrated. We've got so much that needs to be done, repair wise, on the house and we can't seem to get the money together to get that done. He wants to be with me and the kids and yet he is stuck working all the time. I can see the frustrations building. Please, just say a quick prayer for him.
Also my oldest daughter has just been informed that we can't afford to send her to gymnastics anymore and she is taking it rather hard. Please say a prayer for her as well.
Thanks.

Completely understand that, Mouse.
Lord, please be with Mouse's husband and daughter at this time. Please give her husband the wisdom needed to get through this time. Please bless their daughter with a more affordable activity that she will fall in love with.
Amen.

Father, I lift up Mouse and her family to You right now. I thank You that they are Yours and that You already have the solution to all of their problems. I ask that they will be comforted by Your Spirit and that You will continue to help her husband to discern what is best for his family. I also ask that You will strengthen Mouse and her daughter to trust their husband/father's decisions; and to trust You oh God to be their provider. Thank You. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
Blessings, Mouse. I will continue to pray for your family.

Hey mouse I'll pray too of course.
May I suggest is there any kind of free gymnastics that your daughter could join in at may be a ywca or something of the like. There is no need for her to stop doing what she loves. May be in a little while when things get back to normal. I'm hoping this will happen and the prices will come down or pay will rise she'll be able to go back to her classes. May be someone out there is willing to sponsor her. I hope this helps.
I'm not a wise person on the subject of gymnstatics but i have to think there is something she can do to keep up with here life long dream or hobby which ever it is.
I'll also be praying for you and your hubby to be able to stretch your dollars and find ways to get your house fixed the way you need it. I pray that the Lord will give him ideas of ways to get things he needs for free, for the lord to lead him to someone with the supplies you need. this can happen, my uncle is always tossing out good things for people that are remodeling good things, good carpet that may be old to some but good to others. i pray you can run across such a man or woman that can help you too.

Sorry, Jacks. There isn't anything like that in my area. Freebies on something like this are what I check into before I give in a pay. She is starting to accept it. We are discussing different ways for her to pull some money together in order to take the classes through the summer. Right now I'm hoping to be able to let her start back up come fall but only time will tell.
We were able to come up with some volunteers to help put a new roof on the house but we still have to come up with the roofing materials. The roof, the side porch, and the fence are the main things we have to get done. My dad is doing the best he can to try and help us out but he is having just as much trouble coming up with stuff. This from a man who usually has no problems coming up with extra materials.
Thank you so much for your prayers. God bless.

Sorry to hear that Mouse, still praying here. Let me also add I don't know how old your daughter is but in our area young people are lazy and won't work. You would be surprised the times I've wanted help, with weed eating, or house sitting for my dogs, or a little help around the house that even a young girl could do and none of them are willing to work.
Tell her to keep her eyes out for work, cause i think the work is there people are just like me, tired of asking for help to just be stood up and have kids look at you like your crazy me work.
All people are not like me but I like to have reliable dog sitters with my dogs may be if she knows someone that has small pets that stay in side she could ask these people do you ever need a dog sitter. I myself pay 5 dollars an hour for someone to come and sit and watch tv and let my dogs in and out while I'm gone. I pray that she can find someone way to pay her some extra money.
talk soon.

LIfting your husband and daughter up in prayer right now. It is so hard to be the provider and feel that burden. My heart goes out to your husband.
How old is your daughter? Is she old enough to work at something a few hours a week to earn money to pay for her gymnastics? Sometimes it helps kids to appreciate these things more when they help pay for them.
Prayers and hugs,

My daughter is 8 years old and loves to help people. We were talking about selling some of our vegetables from our garden which seems to be doing wonderfully this year. I really don't think she is old enough to really work for someone just yet unless of course it would be family. Like her grandparents.
Luckily, I just found out last night that my mother in law had decided to pay for the summer classes and had already paid for this month. She just forgot to inform me or she assumed that I already knew. Whatever the case, my daughter is ecstatic to say the least. She will have a couple of make up days she will have to do. But I don't think that will be to difficult for her.
We still need to come up with the money for roofing materials along with other building materials. And I just found out that all the flooding in Iowa is affecting the bosses racetrack which in turn is affecting the store where my husband is working. It's a big long complicated situation but suffice it to say finances are pretty rough for my husbands boss right now. So please continue praying.
Thank you so much everyone. Your prayers are precious to me.

8 is a little young I just assumed she was in her teens for some reason. But that is so good that she is going to get to go to her classes, also if the lord blesses your garden sure sale some veggies if you like.
glad for at least one small miracle in your life today.
